Why is circular economy the answer to building back better post Covid19 and the climate change crisis?

How can Africa and the world economies build better given the tremendous impacts Covid 19 has had on economies? And not to forget the climate change emergency crisis that UNEP 2019 emission gaps tell us we are already on 3 degrees warmer world pathway.

I talked to Davinah Milenge Uwella, the principal program coordinator of the climate change and green growth department at the African development bank, on how adopting a circular economy can help reduce global emissions and grow sustainably.

This Episode is part of a five-part green economy series made possible by a collaboration between the Africa Climate Conversations and the continent’s premier development finance institution – the African Development Bank Group, particularly its climate change and green growth department.
